This weekend was kinda lame but kinda fun. On saturday night I slept over at my friend's house and the next morning we were supposed to attend a prostate cancer walk/run for work (I think the event was presented by Safeway or something) but we were dumb and ended up sleeping in by accident. Probably because we went out for bubble tea at 1am and didn't sleep til 4 even though we were supposed to wake up 6.

I went shopping yesterday sort of. I meant to just take the seabus up to North Vancouver to try on and buy a pair of Topshop flatform sandals from a fb closet group but unfortunately the sandals were a bit too big even though they were my Topshop shoe size. :((( but anyway I went to Pacific Centre and I ended up getting a bit of my iced latte on my white Wilfred shirt and Brandy cardi but thankfully I was able to blot it out. Then I went to La Senza and I ended up buying more panties. I had already bought 5 for $25 last week and then yesterday, the same panties were 4 for $15!!!!!! I was really sad about that like I wanted my money back!!! But whatever I guess, it's still better than the original price which I believe is $12.50 each??? But look aren't they cute *_*

I really need to stop buying so many panties lol but honestly the feeling of getting new undergarments is literally one of the best feelings ever!!! Yeah anyway it's almost 7am and I'm supposed to be doing hwk (bc I was lazy and dumb and decided to not do any studying all weekend) so I will leave yall with a cute sky pic I took from who knows how long ago bye!!

On friday I went shopping downtown. My friend and I were looking for white dresses for my friend's debut that's about a month and a half away. We ended up not finding any dresses but I did buy a chain necklace from H&M (maybe I'll post another day idk I've been pretty inactive lately on this blog) and I also bought some hair stuff and a 1.5 inch curling iron because I've seen youtube tutorials of natural everyday waves that look really nice that I wanna try doing. Also I got recruited by someone from Aritzia while inside F21 Robson haha totally unexpected but I told her I'd think about it even though it's probably a no (only bc I already have a job at Safeway and it's so much more convenient for me in terms of scheduling and location and I don't have to follow ppl around and pressure ppl to buy things lol........)

ANYWAY ever since I bought the aa tennis skirt I've been in love with it!!! I've been really into white lately, it's so clean and cute looking but I keep getting worried about it getting dirty. I literally spilled a bit of Jugo Juice on my tennis skirt already but it was a little drip and it's barely noticeable. But wah :((( Also I've been so obsessed with my nail polish!! It's Essie's Van d'Go and it's such a nice shade of soft peachy pink. I've had it on my nails for almost a week now and I only have one little chip on the side of my index finger which I'm really surprised about.

Ooh and on a happy note my summer school course ends in less than 2 weeks! I'm so excited. It's so strange because in total, I only have 12 lectures (every tues thurs for 3 hours a day) and it really is such a short amount of time! So far I think I'm doing pretty well in the course (I think I'm getting an A- right now but we'll see when my midterm grade is released lol). I'm still debating on whether or not I should take another course during term 2 of the summer session because I really really really want a break from school but at the same time the course I registered for during the term is (from what I've heard) really easy and a gpa booster. Plus there's the benefit of getting a u-pass (I seriously don't know how I lived without one prior to uni!!!).

Oh and I got Tinder a week and a half ago hahaha this shit is so addicting!!! I'm not even using it as a dating app, I'm just there for shits and to look at cute guys honestly and I feel bad for saying this but I probably use it as an ego/self-esteem booster too hahaha. Pathetic but w/e. But damn there are some pretty cute guys on there!!! (and plenty that are... not as cute) and also I'm finding ppl on there who like Ta-ku and Yung Lean and Beach House and Majestic Casual and etc etc which is so great because not very many ppl I know listen to them so yay!!!

So voila this is my new layout even though it's mostly the same lol just the font and links and background and colours and title are different other than that it's pretty much the same. Actually that's not even the same. Whatever.

iggy concert!!! (not)

Yesterday was the Iggy Azalea concert that I had tickets for and was anticipating for 3 months but sadly I could not attend and here is my sad, sad story.

It began at the end of February. I heard that Iggy was coming to Vancouver so yay I got really excited until I found out it was at the Commodore Ballroom (fuck your age restriction!!!!). That venue is strictly 19+ and me, being a poor 18 year old whose birthday isn't until September, got really sad and took it to twitter (lol bc that totally solves all my problems right) and saw that Iggy tweeted that all the shows would be all ages. So I tweeted at her and oh my god SHE REPLIED!!!

Iggy said don't worry so I didn't worry. I went ahead and bought tickets because yes bitch I was gonna see her live!!! I waited and waited and waited (for like a couple months) and contacted the Commodore two times asking if the concert really was 19+ and both times they said yes it was.

So finally I took it to twitter again and once again THANK U BASED GOD Iggy replied to me!!! AGAIN!!! (excuse the fucked up times on the tweets, I took the screenshots not chronologically and also Iggy deleted her tweets before I got a change to actually screenshot the entire conversations so I put it together like so using my excellent MS Paint skills)

Oh and this happened on April 21, so exactly one month before the concert so I was like yay I don't have to worry again now bc someone will totally contact me!! I mean I still had my doubts about it happening so I tried not to get my hopes up too much but I think it would actually happen like this was a dream come true?? I literally had daydreams of someone letting my friend and I through the back and us meeting Iggy and everything.

Then yesterday the day of the concert finally came and I waited for someone to contact me but nobody did. I tried tweeting at Iggy but she didn't reply so I waited until 2:30pm and at that point I gave up. I started messaging people who wanted to buy tickets on craigslist and no one replied so I eventually put an ad on craigslist myself. At first no one was replying and I started getting nervous because it was like 3:30 and finally someone texted me about the tickets and I ended up selling the tickets to a guy and his girlfriend for $150 (I had bought the pair of tickets originally for about $80). As I was heading to the skytrain to meet up with the girlfriend and sell her the tickets I started getting a lot of texts and emails about the tickets even though I swear I deleted the ad before I left the house but here's one of my faves lol

So in the end I didn't get to go to Iggy which is really sad (but at least I get to Childish Gambino like a week and a half ago but still). At least I made a profit off the tickets??? I mean I felt bad for charging that much for the tickets but u gotta do what u gotta do. I still got love for Iggy but hopefully she comes back soon!!! And the next time she comes back I don't give a fuck which venue she'll be at b/c I'll be legal by then bitches!!!! Ok bye *looks at pics and vids from the concert and lives vicariously thru those instead*

Today I went shopping again lol yay for being paid yesterday and yay for blowing my entire paycheck today!!!

I went shopping at metrotown today and with the intent on buying a white dress for my friend's debut (it's in over 2 months so I still have loads of time........ for now) and I ended up buying the AA tennis skirt in white which I've been eyeing for ages but finally decided to buy (I was hesitant to buy it because it's $60 and I'm poor and I thought I'd look like some weird asian cosplay schoolgirl but whatever). I was also gonna buy the white athletic contrast tee but the only one in my size had a small foundation stain along the neckline so I decided that I'd just go downtown to another location or something and buy it there since it'll probably be in stock for like ever.

I also bought a bottle of Essie nail polish in Van d'Go (it's a really cute light pink colour). And I got two cute pairs of undies from F21 since they were on sale for $2 each (I love buying cute undergarments) and a nude bra from La Senza because I don't own any and I figured that I'd need it for my friend's debut since you would probably be able to see a coloured bra under a white dress. I realized that I now own 7 bras that are in La Senza's "Show Off" style (do I have issues???).

I don't know why but for the last few shopping trips every time I've found myself buying bras and panties especially when they're on sale. I have an addiction to buying them!!! I think I'm also addicted to buying Bath and Body Works hand soaps when they're on sale for $3. Speaking of which when is the next sale for that????????

Hmm I'm also thinking about dyeing my hair a light ash brown colour. So a very very very light brown but not blonde. I've always wanted to go blonde though. I feel like if I were to go blonde I should do it soon because I probably shouldn't do it when I'm older or else I'd look like one of those scary viet moms (no offence to them tho really). For now I think I'm just gonna go a light ash brown and after that see if I want to go any lighter.

skins, shopping, sushi, childish gambino concert (!!!!!!!)

I meant to update this blog but I've been so lazy but what else is new.

I haven't been doing much lately anyway besides laying around watching Skins. I cannot believe that I've seen this show around for years but I never got around to watching it until now. I literally watched the first 3 seasons in less than 3 days. In fact I just finished the season 4. As for season 1/2, I loved the cast so much and I was so sad and not ready to let go of them for season 3. Throughout season 2 I just wanted to hug Tony and never let him go!!! Like it's okay if you can't write your name bb I can support the both of us!!!! And I felt like season 4's finale was way too rushed. I mean like everything was just going on and suddenly at the end there was so much drama and action and like what happens to Cook?? Do the rest of them ever find out what happens to Freddie??? What do they all do now?????? Like in the season 2 finale they kind of finished off everyone's things but I feel like season 4 really needed one more episode to sum it up. And what's going on is there a movie or something????????? I don't feel mentally stable enough to start season 5 with the new cast after that horror show of an ending.

ANYWAY enough of that, I think I'll just post pics of stuff up until now that I've been up to

 we also went to Nero Belgian Waffle Bar!! I've always seen pics from this place all over instagram etc and I finally tried it. I got the Mocha (vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate, espresso infused whipped cream) and Tina got Heaven (strawberries and whipped cream) and we both got Brussels waffles. It was so so so delicious!! We cut ours in half so we each ate half of each others which I'm so glad we did because these are really filling and I'd probably get sick of it if I ate only mine.

On sunday may 11 I went to see Childish Gambino at the PNE Forum!!! It was an amazing show and I regret not getting the Deep Web app for the message board on the screen in the beginning. Surprisingly I don't have post-concert depression like I did with OF back in september 2012 but yeah idk maybe because I wasn't really anticipating this concert?? Like I knew about it when they the tickets first went on sale but I wasn't planning on going until one week before it so idk man.

Plus Iggy Azalea is one week away!!!! Did I ever mention what happened with her???? I tweeted at her saying that the venue isn't all ages (it's 19+ since it's Commodore) but she said she'd be changing it to all ages but she never did and she replied saying that since the show is sold out there's no point in changing venues. Then I was really sad and then she tweeted at me saying that since she did say it'd be all ages she'll make it up to me by having someone contact me the day of??? This is so insane and I really hope someone does contact me about it because if not then I'll be really really really sad.
